About Us

Founder, Alex Turnbull, originally trained in Arboriculture 8 years ago when he left school and soon began a career as a tree surgeon working alongside his now retired father who has been in the industry over 30 years.

His family business covered everything from ground maintenance to tree care. After they had taken trees down to ground level Alex soon realised not many people could remove the stumps correctly. This is where Alex decided to branch out for himself and set up a sister company, Nottingham Stump Grinding, which would specialise in stump removal.

Alex is renowned for professionalism and punctuality. He is a perfectionist in all aspects of his work and is always happy to help.
